You may not be able to immediately change a situation but you can always change your attitude. I have a dear friend that received a very short haircut. And I mean very short! Think the Marine Corps and you get the picture. She was devastated when she looked in the mirror and saw a few tiny sprigs of hair standing up. “I won’t be able to go anywhere for a month," she cried. She was frantically searching for solutions. Do they still sell turbans? Where is the closest wig shop? Can I borrow one of your hats?
It’s not the end of the world I assured her. “People are going to think I am going through chemotherapy,” she replied. That could mean opportunity. . It may open up dialogue with someone you can witness or minister to. Your haircut can actually be a blessing. Just look at the positive. It will take you less time to do your hair and you can have more time for your morning devotion. Just remember Ecclesiastes 3:1
God has a reason for that haircut. You may not know what it is but you can rest assured he has a reason.
We need to promote a positive attitude regardless of the situation.
Look at the most famous haircut in the bible…Samson.
1 Thessalonians 5:18
